Eurodrug Laboratories was founded in The Netherlands in the 1980s. Starting its business in Asia, it rapidly expanded to different continents. Currently it is active across 4 different continents, constantly striving for excellence in healthcare and looking for new collaborations. They are active in various therapeutic lines; from respiratory to metabolic syndrome and from paediatrics to women’s health. Because of their Dutch roots, their Headquarters are still situated in The Hague, where they coordinate their R&D, distribution, regulatory affairs and marketing affairs efforts to ensure that they meet the human needs of tomorrow.
Senior Supply Chain Officer Key Responsibilities
- Planning, executing and tracking of international air, sea and truck shipments. Ensuring that all goods are distributed timely, cost effectively, with correct documentation and in line with Good Distributing Practices (GDP)
- Reviewing drafting and approving shipping documentation to meet local customs and global trade regulations, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of analysis, transport documents, certificates of origin, EUR1, impost/export permits, and insurance certificates.
- Managing the day-to-day performance and activities of third-party warehousing and logistics service providers. Ensuring that the products are stored and transported according to the Warehouse and Distribution Authorization (WDA) licence and in compliance with GDP regulations.
- Key contact for customers regarding current shipments, invoicing, documentation, import/export permits and (GDP) complaints. Quarterly customer licence check.
- Management of Eurodrug inventories across all warehouses (aligned with Accounting system). Spokesperson towards accountants at end of year for stock checks.
- Creating and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with department processes and GDP regulations
- Acting Responsible Person (RP) and Designated Person (DP) of Eurodrug Laboratories.
Experience Required
- Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in an international, service-oriented environment. Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry is a must.
- Language: Fluent In written and spoken Dutch and English
- Education: Higher vocational education (HBO) degree in Supply chain, Logistics or related field
- Knowledge: Experience with SOP creation/revision. Experience with Quality Management Systems, such as GDP or ISO. Knowledge of GDP regulations is a must.
